So, today was the first day in the city for the folks. Sadly, they did not go for the matching flower motif that they wore on their way here.

 Dad and i went to see the yankees play the twins and in a shocking turn of events, with two genows in attendance, the yankees won! what? i guess maybe it’s not genow that is bad luck, but the combination of genow/risinger. Good to know for the future.

It was a great and quick game. There was great pitching and a few innings of action and we had the best seats. Below is the view of where we usually sit from our awesome today seats.

They were padded chairs and we were about 30 yards from A-Rod when he played 3rd and there were concierge people who took your food/drink order and brought it to you! It was cool to be fancy for a day.

Mom and Lisa hung out in the afternoon, eating lunch with zak, hanging in Bryant Park and seeing Young Frankenstein the Musical. Then we all met up to eat dinner at one of our favorite places, Tibetan Kitchen. Let me applaud the folks and their willingness to try new and spicy things and love them! Way to eat Brianne and Lisa style, mom and dad!

Alas, the only thing missing from our day, aside from the rain which was expected, but happily left us be, was Meghan who had to work. Our only interaction with her was in the morning when she taught mom how to work her new cell phone. We missed you, poopy pants!
