Allow me to list what we did today while you ponder with us why it is that we only took this one photo.

1. Trip to store to return some shoes of Lisas and buy a dress for her.

2. Trip for Lisa to the post office while I bought the next 3 books in the Dark Tower series and 3 other impulse buy books that I am super-pumped about!

3. Trip to TKTS booth to get discount tickets to Broadway show.

4. Then to see the movie Mamma Mia. Note to selves, Pierce Brosnan not a good singer!

5. Off to Ruby Tuesday for our favorite dinner: bbq bistro chicken. yum!

6. then to see [title of show] a new broadway musical that was absolutely fantastic. run, don’t walk to see it! so very good!

we had a lovely day just us girls in the city.

p.s. at ruby tuesday i tried a drink called the grape martini. white grape juice and vodka. really really good. for serious, pour one now and enjoy.

Mom and Dad left for Montreal yesterday and will be there with the FC’s until Friday. Meghan and I immediately took naps to commemorate their departure. We don’t like this day schedule stuff. Getting up and being someplace for an activity before noon is no good for us night shifters! Next time we have visitors, I think we’ll make them stick to our schedule.  

The important thing that happened Sunday was that mom and dad saw a celebrity. We were on our way to the car rental place and they had yet to achieve what all visitors who aren’t maren have achieved when Kevin Bacon walked by us. So sorry maren, but your rotten luck continues!
