I finally finished “No Trace” last night after taking a break in the middle to read the mouse book. It was a nice little mystery where i kept thinking i knew who did it and then had to change my mind several times. well done, mystery author, well done.

I started a new series last night called the Septimus Heap series. It’s a children’s book about this boy who is the 7th son of a 7th son and goes missing on the night of his birth and all of the hoopla that goes on after that. So far, it’s quite good. No Harry Potter, but of a similar feel. The coolest part about this book is that it’s not the typical rectangle shape of a book, it’s square. I think that’s awesome.

Basically, I’m biding my time before I can start the rest of the Dark Tower series. I’m so yearning for them. But I really want to wait until after the Olympics to start them. Luckily, the interim books have been quite good.

Three days until the Olympics and three days until Brianne and Lisa eat a Chinese feast while loving every minute of the opening ceremonies!

Two more days of work until I have 17 days off!

Life is good right now! Good books, chinese food and olympics…what else can a girl ask for? (okay, football season, but that starts soon too!)
