Every night that we were in the Hamptons, Erica, Lisa and I would watch the Democratic National Convention after we put the kids to bed. Yes, I’m not ashamed to admit that many tears were shed. I cried like a sad child who has lost her favorite blanket throughout Hillary’s entire speech. Erica and Lisa made puddles for the video about the soldiers that Tom Hanks narrated. (I was all cried out by that point).
By the time Barack finally spoke, we were a little worn out. So, rather than watch the analysis afterwards as we had done all week, we headed over to Comedy Central for Jon Stewarts take on the whole thing. It may have been the best move we ever made. We all laughed so hard that we cried. Enjoy.
