I was recently reading an issue of Women’s Health and came across some interesting info that I thought I’d pass onto you, my faithful blog readers.

1. Lipstick sales increase $25 million dollars for every 1% rise in the unemployment rate. I guess women like to buy cheap cosmetics during tough times. Who can blame a girl really? And just because money is tight doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have moisturized and slightly tinted lips.

2. 72% of women surveyed by Loreal about haircolor said that they found brunettes to be the most trustworthy. I couldn’t agree more. And a hearty thanks!

3. Life expectancy rates for females have stalled-even declined-in some parts of the country. Between 1983 and 1999 (the latest year for which information has been compiled) womens life expectancy fell significantly in 180 countries. By significantly, they mean 3-6 years. Eek! They listed the top 10 cities in terms of loss of years and 3 of them were in Virginia. Note to selves, stay out of Virginia! Bad things will happen to you and you might not get out alive!

One can only hope that this useless information has made us all a little bit smarter and that one day will help one of us answer some sort of money winning trivia question!
