So, after no sleep, the girls and I loaded into the car and headed off to Canada to see Maren and Jeff. We never get to drive, so we love love love road trips! We prepared with the necessary road trip foods and were on our way!
It was such a lovely drive of rain rain rain all the way there. Luckily, that didn’t dampen our spirits. That’s how much we all miss driving!
And then we were there! We didn’t get lost, in spite of the French road signs. Way to go us! My favorite part of the road trip was that every once in a while Lisa and I would look back into the backseat and Meghan would be sleeping. It happened so suddenly and then she’d wake up and start singing. We found that quite funny.
We then started on what would be Lisas favorite activity of the trip-the Nintendo Wii. Lisa loves the Wii. The rest of us really like it but our feelings pale in comparison to the all-consuming love that Lisa feels for it. I swear she saw all other activities as the breaks between the Wii matches. Worry not, LB, we’re going to get one!
