Okay, so in the continuing piece by piece description of the roadtrip, here’s Saturday.
We slept in and some of us (not this one) got sucked into the movie “Step Up 2 the Streets” on Pay-per-View. After I pulled them away from that, we went to see Rent. No, not on Broadway. They filmed the last show that the girls and I saw on September 7th and released it in movie theatres for all of the Rent fans who weren’t able to go. So, we took Maren to see it on Saturday. Obviously, it was awesome. We clapped after every song like we were at the live show and had a very good time. We also decided to all wear stripes. Yes, that was a choice we made and I think we looked pretty damn fine in our coordinating outfits.
After that Maren took us to get some yummy ice cream and then we headed back to the house for Football! Yes, I sacrificed a whole morning of football watching for this trip. Be impressed.
So, we get home and Jeff is on the couch watching the Michingan-Wisconsin game. He says, ” this is the worst game I have ever seen”. And so it appears to be. It’s 19-0 Wisconsin when jeff and Maren leave the house to go get us some sushi. But, as they are gone, Michigan makes this out of nowhere, fantastic comeback that Lisa, Meghan and I watch with wonder. So, when the FC’s get back, it’s 27-25 Michigan. What a great day for football and my team! I’m just glad Jeff left the house as that obviously what triggered the comeback.
Football continued the rest of the day with more Wii playing. Like Lisa would have let 24 hours lapse without the Wii being involved. And life was good. I’ve included the photo below so that you can all be amazed by just how much hair the Genow sisters have. I personally like the area in the middle where the hair comes together and forms a supermass that I’m pretty sure could take over the world. Nice!
