Last night I finished two children’s books. I guess they are technically called Juvenile books as they are recommended for ages 9 and up. And I technically fit into that category.
Physik is the third book in the Septimus Heap series. It was okay, but a rough follow-up to Brsingr which also has dragons and is a much better series.
The Tiger Rising was the other book I read last night. This book was fantastic. I cried for the last four pages. It was so so good. It’s by the woman who wrote the Tale of Desperaux and Edward Tulane. This woman can write and I think I’ll shortly be reading all of her other books.
I started another book called Looking for Alaska. This book is hilarious and there are many funny quotes from it. I’ll be posting my favorite soon as a tribute to the glory that is the south and their love for fried food. Get ready.
