Alright, eventually I will get to actual Thanksgiving, but I keep forgetting things from the night before. And I wouldn’t want to fail to mention the all important second annual appearance of (insert trumpet fanfare here):
The Drink Apron!
You may remember it from it’s original appearance at last year’s Oklahoma Party Eve Party.
The drink goes in the apron pocket and then is lead up to Maren by a system of interconnected straws craftily taped together by her sister. As I recall, we were trying to think up a way for Maren to drink without the tiring job of having to actually lift a cup. Score one for the home team on that one!
I also wanted to include this series of photos when Lisa, Brianne and Maren were attempting to take a good picture together late in the night.
For some reason this seemed especially hard. And took many many attempts.
Maren explained the next morning that she thought we had rejected her from being in the pictures at all and that is why she made this classic sad face. This photo, naturally, is my favorite of the bunch.
