That’s right, Meghan, it’s more from the week of Thanksgiving, just like you asked. I’ll finally mention actual Thanksgiving day. Lisa and Zak spent the night on wednesday to ensure no one missed a moment of holiday fun. We started the day with a friendly (or not) game of Wii Mario Kart racing.

Then we did some cooking. Turkey, stuffing, mashed pot, sweet pot, pumpkin pie, green bean caserole, rolls, gravy and pumpkin trifle, just like the pilgrims did it.

I’d also like to point out how impressively difficult it is to cook a full Thanksgiving meal in our small NYC apartment kitchen with mini-sized stove with only three working burners and an oven that is small enough that it created a problem when we attempted to cook more than one thing in it at a time. Ah, the benefits of a pre-war apartment building. I’d be willing to put money on the fact that our stove is older than I am.

In case you were wondering, I am not doing a puppet show in my super cool veggie apron, that is our frog potholder. After dinner, we watched Everyones traditional Thanksgiving movie, Home Alone. We played some cards, watched some football and had a pretty solid holiday. Thanks for coming to stay for Thanksgiving, Maren, Jeff, John, Zak, Lisa and Luna. (luna not pictured)

Also, I didn’t notice until I posted this picture that we accidentally sat with our color pair of the day. Jeff and Lisa in gray, Maren and John in light colors, and Zak and Brianne in their brown sweaters. I wish I could say we planned our outfit synchronicity, but I guess it was just outfit destiny.
