yes, another back blog.
So, Christmas morning, those of us staying at Grandmas house (10 of us) woke up and opened presents. See how pumped Maren looks?
I got what I asked for, diamond earrings (well done mom) and they haven’t left my earlobes since. In order to prevent their loss, I plan to wear them round the clock for the forseeable future.
After gift opening, we headed into the kitchen to cook Christmas dinner. Grandma acted as CEO of the kitchen and went from person to person telling them what to do, add, stir while we all made several dishes at once. She taught Maren and I how to make a super quick pie crust but told us the wrong salt measurement, so our beautiful crusts we sadly too salty. But, they looked awesome!
Then the rest of the family came over and we opened more gifts and ate dinner (the 19 of us) and played games and hit the sauce (and I don’t mean gravy) well into the night.
We had a pretty solid Christmas. Thanks everybody. And yes, mom did wear her new pajamas from me all day long. Way to do it Maren style, Tina.
