A few years ago, I bought a book called “A Winters Tale” and have yet to read it. I feel that since it’s called A Winters Tale, it needs to be read in the winter. And I keep missing my window every year. Until this year. I finally started this book the other day and am enjoying it. I am, however, a little intimidated by the fact that it’s 700 plus pages. As I was telling Lisa, I think I will only read books with more than 700 pages in the month of February. I will read really big books in the smallest month of the year. I think it makes good sense. However, I’m not sure how many huge books I can read in this month. I’m shooting for this one and Tale of Two Cities and that may be it. As we all know, Dickens can’t be read at a fast pace. No one can do it. It’s too hard to read about a brick wall for 4 pages and keep up the pace. So, I’ll let you know how my massive reading undertaking goes. If I do manage to read multiple 700 pagers in February, I think I’ll boycott anything over 300 pages in March to make up for it. Happy reading in whatever you all are undertaking this month.
