So, the movie Lisa and I saw on Tuesday was Taken with Liam Neeson. This movie was great. It’s about this super spy dad and the ass kicking he does after his daughter gets taken. Don’t worry, that’s all in the preview. This is definately something to go see. Especially if, like me, you are a little burned out on all the Academy Award dramas and ready for something that doesn’t involve too much life-changing thinking.
I’d like to take a moment to give a special shout-out to Maren who has now taken to reading the blog almost daily after her previous near-boycott of it. Perhaps it was the blog dedicated specifically to her. Welcome, Maren, to the readership. And I’ll try not to be offended that when I said that I was excited she was reading it she responded with an oh so flattering, “I’m bored”. Thanks, Marmen.
In the spirit of helping Marmen with her boredom, I am going to list for her some things she can do to keep herself entertained:
1. download super mario brothers 3 onto the wii and rock it!
2. read Lord of the Rings (all three)
3. take up knitting
4. watch all 7 seasons of the Gilmore Girls (which you should have done by now anyway)
5. straighten your hair everyday (it takes up a good chunk of time)
6. write a letter everyday to Canada asking them to air Sportscenter
7. learn to tap dance
8. teach yourself to play piano
