Yes, we did it! We took down the Christmas tree this week! Yeah! Perhaps you are thinking this is really late to be taking down the Christmas tree, but I assure you it is not. We rock Christmas hard in this house and we are well ahead of last years taking down the tree schedule by taking it down in February. Last year, we took it down in March.
Also of note, no one got injured in this years effort. Last year Meghan lost some blood to a rather large staple in the tree box, but this year we survived injury free!
Also, last year it took us a really long time to take down the tree and fit it in the box for some reason. So this year, we were dreading the prospect of a repeat. However, it took no time at all. Seriously. We were left wondering just why we were such idiots last year.
Well, what can you do? It’s down and Christmas is officially over for 316 West 75th once again.
