63 is the anticipated high for today. Can you believe it? I’m going to go outside without my coat on. What?! Could it be that spring is finally and officially here? One can only hope!
Today we are headed to Taboon, and Israeli restaurant where Zak works to enjoy a lovely brunch. We haven’t been there yet, so I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m a little nervous about finding something for our resident chicken and bread only eater to eat (meghan) but I guess she can enjoy the mimosas while the rest of us eat.
I’m so excited about today. Sunday is my favorite day in the city. It’s such a different feel from every other day of the week. It’s a great day to wander aimlessly and hit the flea markets and drink iced coffee. Sadly, I’ve been working almost every Saturday and Sunday since January and this is my first weekend off in a long long time. Obviously the city knew and has granted us this lovely weather. Thanks for having my back, city.
P.S. Who’s ready for the basketball championship tomorrow? We certainly are. After the less than thrilling Final Four, we are ready to rock basketball hard. And, Meghan made a basketball cake which we had half of yesterday and will finish tomorrow. Way to go, Meghan. She’s decided to open a sports only cake shop. (She also made a football cake for the Gray Cup) She’d also like to have ESPN’s first cooking show. It’d be like the cake shows on the food network but on ESPN. We think it’s a good idea. She could cook a cake while the PTI guys argue. Sounds great.
