Today we are planning to walk the neighborhood known as Montmartre. One of the guide books calls this the “Arts and Tarts” neighborhood as it’s very cultured and artsy but also the home of the Moulin Rouge. And yes, we will be going there.
Things we’ll be seeing today:
1. The Sacred Heart
2. Moulin Rouge
3. Pere LaChaise Cemetery-home to the famous graves of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and others.
Yes, we expect to have a full day of arts, tarts and graves. Sounds fun, right?
