Get ready, it’s a big one. We start the day with a train ride from Amsterdam to Duesseldorf, Germany where we pick up our rental car and then drive down the Western border of Germany and end the day in Munich. There is a route you can take down this side of Germany where you drive through some of the best Bavarian towns/villages and we are taking that route which will include stops in:
1. Wurzburg-home of the worlds largest ceiling frescoe painting
2. Bamberg
3. Nuremberg
4. Regensburg
5. Fussen-home of famous castles
And then we end up in Munich:
All in all, I think it’ll be a great day on the road. That’s right, our trip is now a European Road Trip. I hope it goes okay without triscuits and beef jerky! The only downfall to our roadtrip is that we now have to stop drinking quite so much as we are in charge of our own transportation. What a bummer!
